ViralPrep is an AI-powered content analysis service. We analyse videos and slideshows uploaded by users and provide virality predictions, engagement metrics, and improvement recommendations. We do not publish or distribute your content.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide directly:

• Email address (collected during sign-up)
• Profile data from onboarding: content niche, experience level, average views, audience age, main struggle, and goal
• Content files you upload for analysis (videos and images)

Information collected automatically:

• Usage data: pages visited, features used, session duration (via PostHog analytics)
• Device and browser type, IP address, approximate location derived from IP
• Payment processing data handled by Stripe (we never store full card numbers)

• To analyse your uploaded content and generate virality scores, predicted metrics, and improvement tips
• To create and manage your account and subscription
• To send transactional emails: magic sign-in links, password resets, and renewal confirmations
• To personalise AI analysis based on your creator profile

We do not sell your personal data. We do not send marketing emails without your consent beyond transactional messages directly related to your membership.

Videos and images you upload are processed solely to generate your analysis report. Files are temporarily stored during processing and are not retained beyond what is necessary to complete the analysis. We do not use your uploaded content to train AI models, share it with third parties, or publish it in any form.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription and request account deletion, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain certain records (e.g., payment records for tax purposes).
